Bail & Son is based in Leominster, MA. What you may not know is that the pink flamingo lawn ornament was designed and mass produced in Leominster! In 1957 Don Featherstone designed the plastic pink flamingo for the Union Products company. The 60 plastics factories that employed 5,500 people in Leominster would produce and sell the pink flamingos which became somewhat of an American icon. Flamingos decorated the front of people's lawns all across the nation. Bail & Son wants to stay true to our roots and give the pink flamingo life once again.
